Art at Cape Grace

With Cape Grace’s refashioning in 2023, there was a renewed focus on sense of place. Within the redesigned spaces, and above the contemporary furniture pieces, now are ground-breaking artworks that set the scene for a world-class hotel that proudly celebrates its African heritage. Every artwork within the hotel was made by an artist from Africa – mostly South Africa – and many pieces were specially commissioned for the particular spaces.

This collection of local art shows the hotel’s deep respect for and commitment to the creativity of African artists and artisans.
